6.7L Power Stroke – Pressure Control Valve (PCV)


The PCV is threaded into the rear of the left fuel rail. The PCM controls the fuel rail pressure by modulating the PCV which regulates the fuel rail pressure.
The PCM regulates fuel rail pressure by controlling the on/off time of the PCV solenoid. A high duty cycle
indicates a high fuel rail pressure is being commanded. A low duty cycle indicates a low fuel rail pressure is being commanded.
