1. Apply clean engine oil to the roller and outside o f the valve lifter.
2. Install the valve lifter.
3. Install the valve lifter guides.
4. Install the valve lifter guide retainer.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
5. Install the valve lifter guide retainer bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
6 . Install the cylinder head. Refer to Cylinder Head Replacement – Left Side or Cylinder Head Replacement – Right Side.
