Loosen the rocker lever adjusting screws and remove the valve push tubes.
Hold the push tubes while loosening the adjusting screws. Do not let the push tube fall into the engine while barring the engine.
NOTE: Some push tubes and rods are under compression because the valves are open. Rotate the crankshaft clockwise to relieve the spring tension. Refer to Procedure 009-035 in Section 9.
