Verify the air compressor is equipped with an unloader and valve assembly.
Remove the air governor or air governor signal line from the air compressor.

Operate the engine to activate the air compressor.
If the air compressor is not pumping, replace the compressor cylinder head.
For single cylinder air compressors, use the following procedure. Refer to Procedure 012-007 in Section 12.
