Clean the area around the EGA valve with a clean cloth to help prevent debris from entering the air intake system
when the EGA valve is removed.
Remove the four capscrews holding the EGA valve to the air intake connection.
Remove the EGA valve and mounting gasket(s). Discard the gasket(s).
Use heavy tape or protective caps from the Air Handling Clean Care Kit, Part Number 4919498, to cover any open
connections, to prevent debris from entering the air handling system.
NOTE: Some EGA valve mounting locations require spacers between the EGA valve and the air intake connection. Remove the spacers when removing the EGA valve.
