To remove the cup plug from the camshaft bore, use a center punch to mark the cup plug for drilling.
Drill a 3.18 mm [1/8-inch] hole in the cup plug.
Use an expansion plug removal tool, Part No. 3823159, to remove the cup plug.
NOTE: Discard all used cup plugs.
