A commonly overlooked item when troubleshooting the cooling system is the radiator pressure/expansion tank
cap. The cooling system is designed to use a pressure cap to prevent boiling of the coolant. An incorrect, damaged,
or malfunctioning cap can result in the loss of coolant and in an engine overheat condition. Refer to the OEM service
manual.
