Lubricate the tappets with assembly lubricant, Part Number 3163087, or equivalent.
Prior to installing the camshaft, install the tappets through the bottom of the engine.
If reusing the tappets, the tappets must be installed in the same location from which the tappets were removed.
NOTE: If new tappets are installed, new push rods must also be installed.
