Directions for service of a two-button quick-disconnect fitting:
Remove the quick disconnect style fuel lines by pressing in the locking tangs on both sides of the quick disconnect
fitting.
To aid in removing quick disconnect style fuel lines, slide removal tool, Part Number 4918878 over the locking tangs. Make sure the tool is removed from the fuel line as soon as possible after line has been disconnected.
Inadvertently leaving the tool in place can result in fuel leaks.
To aid removal, a screwdriver can be inserted between the fuel line end and quick disconnect mail union. After pressing the opposing locking tangs, twist the flat blade of the screwdriver to help remove the fuel line.
Install the quick-disconnect style fuel lines by pushing the quick-disconnect fitting onto the male union until it clicks.

Directions for service of a banjo bolt fitting:
A sealing washer is used on both sides of a banjo fitting.
New sealing washers must be used when installing the banjo bolt fitting.
Torque Value: 24 N•m [ 212 in-lb ]

The arrows indicate the fuel supply flow for front gear train engines.

The arrows indicate the fuel supply flow for rear gear train engines.

Front Gear Train
Mark the location of all clips and routing of the fuel supply lines to make sure they are replaced in the correct location
during assembly.
Do not bend, pry, or kink the fuel supply lines during removal.
• Remove the fuel supply line connecting the fuel filter head outlet to the gear pump inlet.
• Remove the fuel supply line located on the right side of the filter head.

Rear Gear Train
Mark the location of all clips and routing of the fuel supply lines to ensure that they are replaced in the correct
location during assembly.
Do not bend, pry, or kink the fuel supply lines during removal.
• Remove the fuel supply line connecting the gear pump outlet to the pressure side fuel filter head inlet.
• Remove the fuel supply line connecting the pressure side fuel filter head outlet to the fuel pump inlet.

For engine-mounted suction side fuel filter applications:
Remove the fuel supply line (1) from the suction side fuel filter head outlet to the gear pump inlet.
