John Deere – 1023E, 1025R and 1026R – Charge Circuit Diagnosis 1023E and 1025R

– Machine parked, park brake locked
– PTO disengaged
– Transmission in NEUTRAL
– Harness connector unplugged from alternator
– Voltmeter (–) lead to battery negative post
– Voltmeter (+) lead to designated test point
– Key switch to RUN
