KUBOTA – L2501 – TRANSMISSION – SERVICING – Clearance between Gear and Spline

1. Secure the gear with a vise.
2. Set a dial indicator (lever type) with its finger on the spline.
3. Move the shaft to measure the clearance.
4. If the clearance exceeds the allowable limit, replace them.
