1. On all vehicles, remove the high-pressure oil pump reservoir. See HIGH-PRESSURE OIL PUMP RESERVOIR.
2. Remove the high-pressure oil pump. See HIGH-PRESSURE OIL PUMP.
3. Remove the drive gear from the crankcase front cover. Remove all gasket residue from the mating surfaces.
