[1] – Park machine safely.
[2] – Allow engine to cool.
[3] – Turn the fuel shutoff valve on the fuel filter and water separator to the CLOSED position.
[4] – Clean around the fuel shutoff solenoid using a parts cleaning solvent or steam cleaner.
[5] – Disconnect the electrical connector (A) to the fuel shutoff solenoid.
[6] – Remove the two solenoid mounting cap screws (B) and remove solenoid (C) from governor housing.
[7] – Test fuel solenoid.
[8] – Installation is in reverse of removal. Check condition of O-ring on solenoid before installing.
