Install

TOC

If the gasket was not damaged, it can be used again. If the gasket was damaged, it must be discarded and a new one installed.

Temporarily installing two guides (diagonally opposite from each other) into the rocker lever housing will assist in proper gasket installation.

Align the gasket to the capscrew holes in the rocker lever housing and install the gasket onto the housing.

An alternate installation method is to install the gasket onto the rocker lever cover with the capscrews. The capscrews and gasket will maintain alignment when the cover is installed.
