Cummins ISX11.9 CM2250 – Service Manual 019-376   Exhaust Gas Pressure Sensor

Connect INSITE™ electronic service tool and verify the exhaust pressure sensor reading with INSITE™ electronic service tool is the same as the gauge reading.

The exhaust gas pressure sensor is located on the EGR system bracket, near the rear of the engine.

Disconnect the wiring harness connector.

Remove the sensor.

Inspect the sensor adapter for cracks or fretting.

Replace the adapter if any damage is found.

NOTE: Make sure the sealing washer is captured on the threaded portion of the sensor.

Install the sensor and tighten.

Connect the wiring harness to the sensor. An audible click will be heard when the connector locks in place.
